Sustainability

I think it is important to be as sustainable as possible when creating long lasting products that will be used for years. In my jewelry making I do not use any harsh chemicals that are used in conventional jewelry making. Instead I use substances that are commonly used in cooking. Using mild substances in the process takes a bit longer, but it ensures that I as maker do not breathe in any harmful chemicals and that no emissions are created that could harm our environment.

During jewelry making silver scrap is created and all pieces big or small are recycled in my studio. My future aim is to use more and more recycled silver in my jewelry making.

My jewelry boxes are completely plastic free made out of eco friendly FSC certified cardboard that is acid free. The tissue paper that I use is also acid free to make sure the jewelry does not tarnish when in contact, that is why these boxes can and should be used when storing your jewelry.

All shipping material that I use is completely recyclable. My aim is to convert to shipping material that is made from recycled materials everything from stickers to tape to make the packaging as environmentally friendly as possible.
